Profile.fail is the internet's most scientifically rigorous platform for rating awkward, unfortunate, and hilariously bad profile pictures. We're like the Olympics, but for photos your mom said looked "handsome."

We celebrate the universal human experience of taking a bad photo. Everyone has that one picture where they blinked, sneezed, or somehow looked like a completely different species. We're laughing WITH humanity, not at it.

Each image receives votes from 1-10, where 1 is "Actually looks fine" and 10 is "EPIC FAIL." We calculate the average of all votes. It's basically rocket science, but for embarrassing photos.

Currently, all images are curated by our elite team of fail-spotters. We're not accepting public submissions because, frankly, we have trust issues and the internet is a scary place.

Because we're trying to build character here. Life doesn't let you skip things, and neither do we. Also, our servers have feelings and get sad when you skip too much.

They mean exactly what you think. Grimace = "Oof." Facepalm = "Why would they do that?" Skull = "I am deceased." Fire = "Actually kind of iconic." ROFL = Self-explanatory. See-no-evil = "I can never unsee this."

Yes, 100% free. Unlike therapy, which you might need after seeing some of these profile pictures. We don't charge money because judging others should be accessible to everyone.

We track which images you've voted on to prevent multiple votes. We don't track your identity, your location, or that thing you did in 2019 that you're still embarrassed about.

Because rating profile fails is basically like binge-watching a show, except every episode is "Extreme Makeover: LinkedIn Edition." Plus, red and black look cool.

Our crack team of fail-hunters scours the digital landscape regularly. New fails appear when the universe provides them, which is surprisingly often. We don't take automated user suggestions, but if you email us below, we will review and submit them for you!

We've seen some true masterpieces hit the coveted 10/10. These images are enshrined in our Hall of Fame, where they will live forever in infamy.
